Sales Executive – DACH and Nordic Regions

Innovative Systems, named #1 in technology and customer satisfaction by leading analysts, is looking for an exceptional and highly driven Sales Executive to identify and grow new opportunities throughout the German-speaking (DACH) region of Europe and the Nordics.

The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality with a 3 to 5 year record of excellence in identifying and closing new sales opportunities and exceeding sales targets within the software, data management, data quality, Fintech, and/or risk, compliance space throughout the DACH/Nordic regions.

You will have a deep awareness of the cultural nuances necessary for developing successful business relationships throughout the DACH and Nordic regions, have fluent German and English communication skills, and be motivated by the opportunity to develop business in this regions.

LOCATION: The successful candidate will have the flexibility to be based and work remotely from within Germany or from our London, U.K. office.

COMPENSATION: Reporting to the SVP of European Sales/Global Chief Marketing Officer, you will be compensated with a competitive base salary; double OTE (uncapped) incentives for achieving sales targets, and a generous car allowance.

RESPOSIBILITIES – What you will be doing:

  • Apply Solutions Selling strategies to drive sales of new business
  • Establish regular, ongoing routine of cold calling to build and maintain client pipeline
  • Respond promptly to all leads and inquiries (direct customer and marketing generated) to maintain an ongoing pipeline of opportunities
  • Leverage market research to determine client needs and to create a winning sales strategy
  • Maintain ongoing awareness and knowledge of industry, government, and regulatory trends, as well as relevant technical developments
  • Maintain consistent competency of Innovative’s product offerings and updates
  • Maintain continuous communication with management regarding opportunities, challenges, industry and competitor news, and overall account status
  • Develop and deliver effective and professional sales presentations
  • Proactively seek management / team assistance throughout the sales cycle to meet customer needs and drive high-level customer satisfaction
  • Work cooperatively with other Innovative teams including support, delivery, product development, and account management
  • Proactively build and grow relationships with strategic partners
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (salesforce.com) to manage leads, activities, client pipeline, and proposals through to contracts
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner
  • Facilitate contractual negotiations and closure with clients
  • Maintain integrity in dealing with internal teams, clients, and partners in a professional manner
  • Support Innovative’s vision, methodologies, and strategies to achieve sales quota

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – you must have:

  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Minimum of 3 years software or technical sales experience
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets and goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with passion and proven record for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong commitment to follow through
  • Demonstrated strength in problem assessment
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Proven and effective team player / collaborator
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate technical concepts
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30 - 50%

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – it’s a plus if you have:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of regulatory risk and compliance issues, regulations, and impacts, anti-money laundering, etc.
  • Working knowledge of data analytics, data quality, data integration, Business Intelligence (BI), or similar technologies
  • Fluency in other languages
