Product Manager

Innovative Systems, Inc., a rapidly expanding global leader in the development and delivery of enterprise customer data management/compliance products and services is now seeking an experienced Product Manager. You will be the expert in knowing client needs and use that knowledge along with your understanding of technology and innovative to help create Innovative's long-term product strategy and vision.

Our ideal candidate will have prior software strategy experience with a technology company. The product strategies you developed will have successfully driven revenue and profit growth. Understanding of software products or concepts is essential.


  • Manage the whole product life cycle including, formulation of strategy, development of product requirements, conduct review of alpha and beta versions with Users Advisory Group/Alpha and Beta clients to ensure the product meets specifications/market needs, and help execute product launches.
  • Collaboratively develop the product vision, strategy, and design to drive increased revenue growth and profit.  Develop financial forecasts of potential projects based on internal estimates.
  • Manage the communication to the engineering team of features to be developed and determine if products are market-ready.
  • Lead product roadmap and prioritization process in collaboration with R&D, Account Management, Product Marketing, and Sales; maintain and enhance product roadmaps.  Prioritize effort to create new features and bug fixes for each release.
  • Communicate product roadmaps to all stakeholders across departments within and outside of the company to ensure alignment with development efforts and market needs.
  • Develop models to allocate engineering resources balancing the needs of the company with the capacity of the team.
  • Create and maintain calendars to outline the monthly effort needed from R&D and QA departments.
  • Select and coordinate the customer advisory board and user groups.
  • Analyze user interaction and translate the insights into product requirements taking into account customer needs.  Measure product acceptance and adoption and ensure the learnings from past launches are applied toward the next development and launch efforts. 
  • Help product marketing develop the Unique Selling Points (USP’s) for use in client communiqués including marketing materials and sales presentations.
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop and execute the go-to-market plan for new and existing products, including pricing, marketing and sales efforts and analyst relations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop creative, engaging, and winning customer communications and promotional strategies including webinars and seminars, etc.
  • Stay ahead of technology trends and on top of market needs, competitive offerings, and gain insights through various forms of market research. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, statistics, or information technology.
  • Minimum 2 years successful experience in product management with a software or technology company. Preferably in a B2B environment.
  • A deep understanding of the software production process, especially Agile methods.
  • Proven track record bringing products to market.
  • Technical understanding of software with some background/experience in coding.
  • Prior experience planning and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Experience talking to customers and synthesizing their needs into product features.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make presentations.
  • Results-oriented and resourceful, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (US and Internationally)


  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Business (MBA) from a top tier university
  • Product marketing management experience in a software firm.
  • Design or user experience process knowledge
  • Understanding of cultural  impacts on marketing  and buying behavior throughout Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions
  • Functional ability in multiple languages
